Version 2 - Calendar Style Original CSS was created by nsheehan
Upgraded to version 2 and having issues with all the changes. Is there a list of steps required to have a working Latest News Enhanced Extened module after upgrading? For example Calendar Style Original CSS is gone, which breaks all existing modules. The new layout is not better than the old one, it just requires that we have to relearn the interface.
Also it is MUCH slower than the previous versions.

Not very happy with this update as it is. Too much pain to make it work.

Please advise.

Hello Niall,

I am sorry you are having such issues with the module.

There is no major change in the calendar stylesheets, you may just be experiencing stylesheets not loading (check the file access permissions).

The new version has better performance once you set the advanced option 'reset stylesheets' to 'no'. From that time on, it will cache your stylesheet/scripts and greatly improve performance. There won't be any improvements until then. Stylesheets are also significantly smaller in size.

I also strongly recommend reading the release history for this version and the new documentation. The release history points out which options need rework when updating.
