Difficult decision... the template looks nice, you just have to be aware you will need lots of CSS tweaking. You may run into the same kind of problems with another template anyway, unless it is a standard one. I found tedious to use 3rd party templates. They look nice, offer many options, but when it comes to tailoring them to your needs, it becomes a nightmare. You won't run into any major problem when switching templates. You will need to re-allocate your modules to the right placeholders, that is it.

Sorry I didn't explain very well! :)
I didn't mean to change template, but to change the strings in the actual template that are modified and set back to the original joomla:
in example from .tx-articleinfo back to .article-info
But I actually guess it would be a lot of work, and in php probabaly I wouldn't be able to do that!

I don't know if this is a good idea... The template relies on its new marking and by changing it you will loose its structure. It probably will work fine on some pages, but not on others. Check if there are many files under your template's directory /html and you will have an idea of how much of the standard has been overridden. If there are just a few files in there, you may want to go and modify them or even remove them altogether (but you may loose some neat stuff added by the template...). Check each file and see if they are worth the headache...

It looks like I managed!
I only had to replace on the style.css article-info with tx-articleinfo, and I added div.tx-leading-articles h2, to display none! So far it looks ok :)
Now I have to manage to bring back everything to the left with css, but this should be easier!

Hi

I have the same problem and i have read your reply but can't work out what i need to change:

I am using Article Details Plugin on a Joomla 1.7 site

The category list layout is perfect - 79.170.44.156/everso.co.uk/index.php/eversoworld

But when you click on the read more - 79.170.44.156/everso.co.uk/index.php/mor...icar/13-meat-platter -

Then i either get 2 titles or no titles.

I am using a custom template but i can't see where it is supposed to add the article-info and switching to other default templates didn't seem to help either

I only really wanted the article detail layout on the listing page - but can't see any setting to say not on the article layout page - but i don't mind too much what this page looks like so long as the info isn't duplicated

Any advice would be gratefully received as I am now stuck!
