Fatal error was created by wicklert
Bought your component tonight and installed it. Same for the library.

Adding menu item and facing a fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function addLink() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/<domain>.org/httpdocs/libraries/expose/admin/fields/colorpicker.php on line 29

Using Joomla v3.2.3.
Please advise.

Hello Ed,

there seems to be a conflict between the library 'syw' and the library 'expose'. For some reason, the wrong colorpicker.php is called, provoking this error.

At this point, I have to investigate why the component Trombinoscpe Extended is calling 'expose' rather than 'syw'.

I am assuming you downloaded and installed the library: www.simplifyyourweb.com/index.php/downlo...ategory/23-libraries

I can confirm downloading and installing the library (lib_syw.zip), plugin is published.

could you tell me what is the component that installs the library expose/admin/fields/colorpicker.php ?
I have tried reproducing your issue but with no luck at this point.

Hello Olivier,

Found out tonight that this is the component DJ-ImageSlider.
Came with the template.

Disabled plg_system_expose and can use your component without any problem. :)

Result: can't use the expose option in Slidershow any more....!!

Suggestions?

I will install the plugin and see if I get conflicts.
Only then I will have a better idea on how to fix it.
The thing is, there is a colorpicker in Joomla! and Trombinoscope does not conflict with it, so I am wondering why it does with 'expose'.
