Items in selected sub category fail to show was created by studiogrynn
I have blogs nested in categories for navigational reasons.
Similar to:
Blogs
|---subcat_1
.....|---blog1
.....|---blog2
.....|---blog3
.....|---etc.
|---subcat_2
.....|---blog4
.....|---blog5
.....|---blog6
.....|---etc.
When using Latest News Enhanced, and top level category (Blogs) is selected, all works as advertised. When subcat_1 or subcat_2 are chosen, the module displays blank. I.e. the title shows, but no data is propagated.
Thoughts?

Hello,
the module only shows articles from selected categories. If you select a top category, it will show only articles in that category but not its children, unless they are selected also. Do you have any articles in the subcat_1 and subcat_2 that are published?

Yes. All the articles are published. Going back to the diagram in the first post, there are no articles directly under the top category. They are all nested under the second level categories.

Ok,
It looks like I was wrong about the structure!
It is more like this:
Blogs
|---subcat_1
.....|Another_subcat_1A
..........|---blog1
..........|---blog2
..........|---blog3
..........|---etc.
|---subcat_2
.....|Another_subcat_2A
..........|---blog4
..........|---blog5
..........|---blog6
..........|---etc.

Screen grab attached.

My hope was to be able to select the subcategory and get the latest from any of the child categories. Based on your previous post, the module will not accommodate that behavior.
