Yes there are but you will run into the same issues. If your files are joined and compressed, jQuery Easy cannot remove the unnecessary files and re-order them. You have to choose one or the other. But in your case, if you needed jQuery Easy just to make your jQuery code run, you don't need it as your template already packs on jQuery v1.8.3. If other extensions add their own jQuery version, you should have the option to disable jQuery from them (unfortunately, not always the case).
