When I load the plugin, I see the following message under the Preview section:

"jQuery is disabled in the administration console"

I'm not sure what this means. Do I need to change something, somewhere??? I'm not a web programmer and so detailed instructions would be much appreciated.

Hello,
no, this is not an error message. It is just information telling you that jQuery is not enabled through the plugin for the administrator's side of your website.
I agree that the message being in red may be confusing (making it look like an error).
