module not displayed in joomla 4 was created by fsiteur
Since I have updated my site to J4 (4.4.2), the Latest News Enhanced module is not displayed anymore. I followed the migration steps described on the website. I also tried uninstalling the Latest News Enhanced module and reinstalling it. The regular latest News module from Joomla is working properly. Any idea what might cause this problem? Thanks in advance. Best regards,
Floris

Hi Floris,

When you enable debug and error reporting (from the global configuration of the site), do you see any error? The module should work the same in Joomla 4 as it was in Joomla 3.

Hi Olivier,
Thanks for your quick reply. When I turn on debug and error reporting, I do not see any errors. Just a white space where I expected to see the module (or the error).
Regards,
Floris

Floris,

you are welcome!
can you send me an email at [email protected] with some credentials so I can take a look? There may be something in the configuration that prevents the module to show.

Thanks!

Olivier.

Hi...
I am also having problem with displaying the module in Joomla 4.
Currently our live website is using Joomla 3 and we have been using the extension (free version) without a problem.
I wanted to check the extensions if they will work with Joomla 4 before updating our website, so I installed a clone version in WAMP and followed the instructions in updating the Joomla version.
I updated the extensions and plugins (no error message occured) and I encountered that the module is not displaying where it is inserted.
I am using Quix pagebuilder (same pagebuilder I am using in our live site) and T4-based framework template in the clone
but in the live site I used Morph, T3-based framework.
I hope somebody here can help.
Thanks.

Hello,

it could be that the authors parameters are improperly set.
In the item selection tab, if you have the 'created by' filter set to 'exclude' and 'created by' set to 'all', you won't get any data.
This was not enforced in older versions of the extension.
