IMG alt from image not from title was created by waro
Hello

I am wondering if its posible to display images on front page with alt text from images added in article not from title of artice like it is automatically added?

For example. I am making article named Test and in content i add image test.jpg with alt="football"

When i am on front page and got row or column display it shows alt="test" not "football"

Hello!

the 'alt' attribute for images used as 'head' in the Latest News Enhanced is the title of the article by default. It was created this way because the 'head' is supposed to represent the article item.

However, I agree, there are instances where you may want to use the original 'alt' attribute of the image instead.

I will look at this for the next update after 7.1 (which is nearly ready for release).

Hello Olivier, is the option available in 7.1 version ? My licence expired and i would like to purchase it when this alt option is ready.

Hello!

No, the version 7.1 was already ready for release so it is not included.
It will be included in the next minor (7.2) or major release (8.0), whichever comes first.
If I release a 7.1.X version, it won't be included as these versions are only meant for issue fixes.
