Just installed latestnews enhanced extended on a joomla 3.1 aite. Getting this warning message at the top of the page when it is published:

Warning

JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 43

What gives?

Hello,
there is a user filter in the module's database query to make sure articles are from a particular user.
What settings do you have in the body options tab for 'author' and 'show author' ?
Did you delete user id 43 but still have articles tied up to that user?

Hi

Thanks for your fast reply! Much appreciated.

I figured it out just now myself. In Joomla 3 for each article, there is a "Publishing Options" tab and I needed to select myself as the author. Maybe there was an easier way to do it as I had over 100 articles, but once I did this, the error message disappeared. I think the problem was caused somehow by the in-built upgrade process from Joomla 2.5 to 3.

You are welcome. Glad you were able to fix it. Article's ownership may have been corrupted in your upgrade. Sorry you had to go through all your articles!
