0 - String could not be parsed as XML was created by schulzdesign
Hi there,

happy new year everyone!

After the update to 5.0.0, my website stopped loading and I only received an error message: '0 - String could not be parsed as XML'

If I deactivate the module, the page loads without problems, but unfortunately also without news.

It is the following URL:  www.vereins-und-unternehmernetzwerk.de/

There were no problems updating other websites.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be?
I am grateful for every tip.

Happy New Year to you as well!

Have you tried re-installing the extension on this particular site?
XML issues are usually related to a faulty install.

Do you have any logs that could help figure out what the problem is?

many thanks for your response.

Yes, I tried a new installation. Unfortunately it didn't help.

Which log file is needed? Or. where can I find it?

logs are located where you specified in your site's global configurations.
Most likely in administrator/logs/errors.php.

Oh, yes.
Sorry for the stupid question.

I checked it. There are only incorrect information about users in the log file.
"Benutzername und Passwort falsch oder das Benutzerkonto existiert noch nicht!"

Should I send you the access data to the backend?
