Olivier,
You're an absolute champion! Works a treat, and something that we've done (probably the media queries) is also making some icons show up in the Digital Content module that weren't appearing before with IE8.

Just as an aside, is there any way to make either the article header or the picture a link to the full article (ie a different URL / Link than the module is receiving it from?

Great that it works Nick, I am delighted.
The slider was not really made for linking to articles since the articles are what you are already showing in the slide.
But if you need that functionality anyway, just use links A thru C for that purpose.
