Hello!. I can't import contacts. It just says An error has occurred. Upload error
I attach the file.
I am with Joomla 3.9.16.

Hello!

you can try and check if the error log files contains clues about the errors.  The file is syw.errors.log and is located in your log folder as setup in your Joomla's global configuration.

You can also download the sample file available to you to check how an import file looks like.

Ok. Thanks. very much.
The import works now. But, despite saving the data in utf8 without bom, the texts appear with strange characters.
I have tried several exports (excel, notepad, notepad ++) and it still doesn't work.
:-(

I just double-checked to make sure the extension was importing contacts with accents correctly. It does.

Now that may be because your contact table (in the database) is not properly encoded. It should be something like utf8mb4_unicode_ci.

Let me know :-) We will get to the bottom of this.

As you say, it is in utf8mb4_unicode-ci
What else can I do?. It urges me enough

You have to check the table itself (contact_details), the overall database configuration is not enough.
