1) Is it possible to not have a default image?  I would prefer that, that way we don't have to add an image and get the warning if there is no image. "Default picture is missing. Please set the default picture in the global configuration"

2) Where can I change the label text in the backend when adding a contact, for example, "State or County"?  I don't see it in the language file.

3) OK I honestly really tried, by reading the documentation below, but I still can't seem to figure out how to show the social icons.  I add a Facebook URL for one of the contacts.
3a) I want it to show the facebook icon but instead it's showing the numbers that are at the end of the URL - when you click on it it does go to facebook.
3b) Secondly, I would like it on the details page

Is it possible to add a default in a field.  For example, in the Country field I would like the default to be Canada so I don't have to type it everytime.
