Profiles
Each time an area of a site needs a new design overall, it is as simple as creating a module instance.
Go to Extensions -> Modules.
Click on New and select Article Detail Profile
.
The core engine will recognize module instances if and only if:
- the module's template position corresponds to the position determined by the plugin (
adprofile
by default), - the module is published with the correct publishing dates, access and languages,
- the module's menu assignments correspond to the page the visitor is in.
Note when 2 profiles overlap, the output returned comes from the first module instance found (relative to the administrator console order). A message notifies you of the overlap in the page.
